Really funny

So, the nurse emailed me again earlier and adviced me it's best not to test at home for a little while. That they rather allow for 2 weeks to pass before testing again now, since my blood test was negative yesterday. HA. There is no way at this point I can wait 2 weeks to test! Not with what I know now. I think I can wait till the weekend. I have too much going on to go buy my tests, and I refuse to use theirs just yet. They will do another blood test probably late next week if I do not start a period by then.
So far, I agree with a lot they say, but this one just sounds crazy. I was never told not to do a home test before I'm over a week late. In the past they said that if I pass day 30, then it's best to do a test to see.

Oh well. I'm not buying any tests till at least Thursday. I convinced my mom to take me to my consult appt tomorrow because I hate driving in that area, especially with rush hour, so she will do the drive for me. And I'm kinda keeping my mom in the dark about the study related things right now because she's somewhat negative at times and focuses too much on all the risks and what might happen. So at this point, I do not want to tell her and have her start scaring me. We also decided that when we finally find out I'm pregnant, no one is going to know until we are at a safer point. The only place I will update and talk about it is here. Facebook/myspace has family on it, so that's off limits. I'm sure that will make a lot of them mad at us when they do find out and find out we were hiding it, but sometimes, you just got to keep some things quiet and secret. It will be a fun secret at least.
