News

I haven't been keeping up anymore. I'm sorry. There is so much going on here lately.
First of all, this week was an off week with babysitting. Aside from today. They came for a few hours and nap time is giving me a little break inside to catch up.
Big news now. We have decided to move. While things are not 100% normal for my parents here, it's time for us not to worry about it anymore, and to move on. For my sanity, for my relationship, for my child, it is just not working with us being here anymore. The news went about as good as to be expected. They agree, but are going to be sad to see us go. Moving weekend should be around August 1st. We decided to go back to the rental route, until we are sure if we want to stay in this area. So a few years of renting and we will see where we end up. Maybe an out of area move.
We're going to be in a much better school district which is going to be great for Kristopher. HE WILL BE A WALKER!!! No bus to worry about!! And instead of getting on a bus at 7am and not getting home till after 4, he will be dropped off at school around 8:40 and home before 3!! Makes me happy and a lot less stressed about school coming up. And it starts almost a week after this current district. So we have a little more time before the big day.
The only concern I have right now is the dog. She has been so happy here, and will be losing her yard. She will be back to leashed trips outside, and alone more when we go places. I need to work on her barking. She barks when I leave her totally alone, and she barks till we unlock the door and step inside when she hears us home. That has got to stop. New neighbors will not like that very much.
So for the most part, it will be a really good change. My husband will be dropping from an hour drive to right around 10 mins. That means more time with him too. And we will be close to EVERYTHING again. No more hour trips to the grocery store, saving a ton on gas.
The next 5 weeks are going to go by fast I'm sure. There is so much to do to prepare, and now to add to it is the school transfer stuff as well. Plus I need to get some things that we consolidated on when we moved here. In reality, 5 weeks doesn't seem like it's quite enough time.....

Going to have another visit

Tooth #3 is out, and this time he was impatient and pulled it himself. There was blood. And he didn't panic. Now the tooth fairy needs to stay awake till he is asleep.

Questions by Kristopher

My boy has a very active imagination. He also talks from the second his eyes open, till he goes to sleep, and even some while sleeping. He sometimes talks so fast that he drools and chokes because he doesn't want to take that second to swallow spit. Not a moment of silence here.
But anyway, I am thankful that he is able to do so because I have several friends that have gone through a lot of therapy and help to work with their children, so this is no way a complaint.

So today, we were at the garage. I was informed this morning that there was a nail in my tire. I wanted to get it taken care of before it ends up as a flat so we had it checked out. While we are waiting, it starts the non stop questions and observations.
Kristopher: Oh Look, A fox tail! (weed) Mommy, why do they call it a fox tail?
Me: I guess because it sorta looks like a fox's tail.
Kristopher: Oh. But foxes are not green. Did you ever see a green fox? Maybe they hide that we can't see them? Oh look, there's a bee-hind. (beehive)
Me: bee HIVE, not behind. And yes, I see that too.
Him: We better move just in case they are in there. Do you hear any? I don't hear any bees. Or see any bees. We better move over here. (he moves on my other side) See, I'm out of the way. You should slide down this way a little more just in case. Why would a bee built it's HIVE there? See?I said hive the right way this time.
Me: Good job. I'm not sure why they built their hive there, but I think it's an old one and they aren't in there anymore.
Him: Oh. Well they could be sleeping. I think they are sleeping. Oh look, there comes the guy to fix our tire. How do you think that nail got in there? Where did it come from? Hi, I'm Kristopher. My mommy's car has a nail in the tire.
Mechanic: Hi. Which tire?
Kristopher: I'll show you! This one! Right here! It moved since we were at home! How did that happen? Did it fall out already? How are you going to take it off?
Poor mechanic looks at me like woah.......
So while they take my car over, Kristopher goes on and on about how he doesn't know why I'd get nail in the tire, trying to decide how it was coming out, trying to determine what noises were coming from over there, naming cars from Cars movie. Said hi to the tow truck which he has named Mater since he was about 2 and we would drive past. He finally met Mater today.
So after about 40 mins of non stop questions, we were on our way.
I then realized that in a few months, he won't be home to go with me on weird little errands. I will miss this, and it will be insanely quiet at my house. I don't think I'm ready for it.

Day 3

I had another normal go of things. IF I go back from when the weird spotting became regular, it means I had a 29 day cycle. I had definite progesterone increase, and not much of a warning on the start of things. For now, I appear to be normal. hahaha Me normal.
Anyway, herbs might work. We will see.

Going fast

Time is going too fast for me. I can't seem to catch up on here anymore. So for now, it will be this weird jumbled random facts.
We will start with herbs. I no longer know if things are working or not. I feel that it may be working, and I have too much stress for things to fully form and complete? If that makes sense. I feel pain throughout, have signs, then nothing shows and tests are negative. So, I'll assume its the fact we have so much other stuff going on, and just not meant to be right now.

My grandma is home and doing good. We have been keeping close tabs on her, and she seems to be resting a lot more. She is more laid back. Not as moody and opinionated, which in a way is good, but also proves that she will never go back to how she was. She will talk to us, but only if we keep pushing conversation. It's just really different.

I'm debating between a new therapist for Kristopher's behavior issues. The reason I say debating is because I'm 90% sure the newest issues and outburst now, are because of my dad. He's back to pretty much laid off and around all day, and we have always had our differences. His sole purpose in life is to mess with my mind and get me worked up and mad. So Kristopher is seeing the disrespect and since he LOVES Pappy, and Pappy never says no or does anything to hurt his feelings, he will follow that behavior because it's funny. So overall, therapy probably isn't going to do anything to change it because dad will NOT change. I keep thinking moving will help, but it will most likely make them have serious issues again and possibly lose the house, plus I will no longer be super close to keep an eye on my grandmother. So, I am trying to ignore it and just standing firm with my rules with Kristopher. Eventually he is going to see that Pappy doing ____ just got me in trouble, again, and this is not cool.

And with Kristopher, tball is approaching the end. I think there is 4 games left, unless we make up the 2 that were canceled. At the most, 6 left then the picnic and trophies. He did really good this year. Then we need to decide if we want to do soccer, or stick with just baseball. Soccer will be good for letting him run off a lot of energy so I think we will probably do it.

So that's our update in a nutshell. Soon time for breakfast and baby nap time. Just have to make it through today and tomorrow....
