Still here

I'm still around. I'm limiting what I'm posting for now, because I've discovered someone that is local has been checking out the site pretty much daily, and until I found out who it is, I'm done using the blog as the way I did before. I wanted this to be my place where I can come to clear my mind, because most of the subject of the blog is not something I can talk to with people around here. I wanted to have a public blog, because I figured that maybe my story could help someone else out, but I did not share the link with family for the simple fact that I'm not ready to talk about all this with them. I don't think someone truly understands what it's like unless they go through it. Plus, with all this study stuff, it's bad enough to let down my husband each month, let alone let down a bunch of hopeful other family members that really don't have to know the details. So, please, whoever it is that's found me, tell me.
My profile says what state I'm in, so if you are from the same and found me here, let me know so I can stop obsessing it.
I'm debating if I should go ahead and make it private or what to do. Any of my regular other readers still want to read if I make it password protected? Any ideas what I can do? Or am I making too much of it?

  1. It's not me. I've noticed that sometimes people show up as one place but aren't actually there. I know that I show up in a different town than I live in and I also show up at my company's HQ location in another state too. I understand your hesitance and you should do what you need to do. I can email you a screen shot of what I see for your state on my analytics account later today, but I don't know if it will make you feel better.

  2. Thanks Amanda. It bothers me a little because I don't live in a huge populated area, so it's weird to see the report of regular activity close. I'm still trying to figure out how to find out how they found the site. The first one said first time to site or whatever, and then after it, it said returning visits or something along those lines.
I guess it shouldn't bother me...I just wonder if its someone being too nosey and will hold something against me later on for whatever reason.

  3. You know, you can post in the ballroom (email me if you don't know what that is) and it's really exclusive, only IF bloggers and readers are allowed. That might be a good way to get around your problem for the time being.
