On a happier note from the previous post....I have to share some Zoey pictures. My little fluffy dog's birthday was yesterday! She turned 8 already, and we let her celebrate by not being stuck at home while I went to and from preschool, which she absolutely loved the rides. And she got a special annoying froggy toy, and shared a cupcake with Kristopher. Big treat for her because she never gets people food. I think she had a pretty good birthday.
So, to celebrate the doggy birthday a day late, here's some pictures.

The first one is Zoey shortly after we got her. She was 13 weeks old and so tiny and fluffy. Looking back, I can't believe how little she was. Not much bigger than the bunny is probably. I think she was around 5lbs....

And now she's 8 years old and technically a senior dog. She still acts puppy like at times, but you can tell she's older now. She sleeps a lot, and through some loud stuff in this house.

She always makes the weirdest expressions when she knows I'm taking her picture. I swear, she's not a real dog. Or at least in her mind, she's part human I guess. (there's that weird frog toy) I have a whole folder devoted to the weird Zoey expressions.

There's the little tribute to Zoey. I hope we have many many more years with her because I can't imagine what it will be like without her. She's helped me through some very tough times in our almost 8 years together. I think there is just something that an animal can sense and can comfort so much better than a person...Maybe I'm just weird!
