Post-op Appt #2

I'm recovering well. No pain when he was poking at my incisions and pushing around those areas, but I'm extremely ticklish and it was disturbing. I'm allowed to drive again. I'm allowed to resume normal household things. I'm still restricted, no heavy lifting, no major exercising, walking is fine but that's about it, I asked about working up the garden and he said no. Too much twisting and moving around too soon. That sucks. I'll be fully released as of May 8th, which is a little over 4 weeks post op. I can handle that though, at least I can drive and do the housework without worrying. The name of the stuff they used for surgery prep is called Chloraprep, and he wrote that down and said to make sure to update my PCP and medical records that I'm allergic, so that I don't have to deal with that again. I still have a little of the rash and he wants me to take the benedryl till it's totally gone.
Oh and the most important part of the visit, he wrote my script saying he clears me to go back and "continue fertility program". I left them know, and I go back on Monday. YAY! He was semi rude about the study and made a comment that it wasn't that bad waiting this month out to get something more important taken care of now was it? I just thanked him for putting it in writing for me and was on my way.
Since surgery, I have been eating much healthier, and not as hungry. I know I'm losing weight and it appears to be staying off pretty easily. That's really good news and I'm happy about that. I'll find out on Monday for sure how much I've dropped.
I might update more later. I have a lot I need to get done before evening, and guess it's time to get started.
