Saturday night ramblings

And I still have not received my herbs. I'm quite annoyed by it and I plan to call the main company on Monday and see what they would recommend I do now that I missed 2 days worth already (4 by Monday). I guess I'll also order a 2 month supply from them as well.

Yesterday I filed our taxes. We are completely filed and get a refund. Yay! And it didn't cost us anything to file since I did it myself and we really don't have enough to do a long form itemized deduction. Short form is free everywhere now.

I might be babysitting again, full time this time. My friend who I babysat for in the fall asked if I'd be willing to watch both. She went back to work in the beginning of the month, and the new sitter isn't working out like they hoped. I talked it over with my husband and I am up for the adventure. They need to sit down and talk about it a little more before deciding for sure if they are switching because I'm about 15 mins out of the way. We will see. It sounds like it's happening, just a matter of when. I'm looking forward to it and I know Kristopher will love it. He was very upset when the extra car seat disappeared when we stopped after the new baby was born. When he heard us discussing the possibility he keeps asking when we get to babysit again. At least I know he will do fine with it.

Tonight we're going to have a movie date night. My husband is putting wild man to bed right now, then showering and we're going to have a few wine coolers and watch Paranormal Activity in the dark. I love scary movies, but at the same time I know it's going to freak me out like crazy. I may not sleep for the next week. Last weekend I stayed up and watched Mirrors, alone, and was freaking out about the glass in the fireplace. I had covered it with a blanket so nothing could "watch me" from the other side of the glass. I text my husband, who was upstairs sleeping, to come down to walk upstairs with me so I didn't have to shut the lights off and go alone. All because I was sure there was something out in the dark kitchen. I've got a seriously overactive imagination. Who knows what the next week will be like after tonights movie! Oh well, it's fun and we can have a cheap stay at home date night. It's way too cold to be going out anyway.
