I survived it! I forgot how horrible having that stomach flu really is! I was at the point yesterday that even water wasn't staying put. I even had a fever. My boy spent most of the day in front of the tv, but I still made sure he had drinks, lunch and his snacks. By evening I was feeling good enough to eat some soup for supper and we had some family time. It was just a rough day. It made me think. Mom's take care of the kids when they are sick, they take care of the husbands when they are sick, the pets, etc. And in my house, I also take care of these old people (aka my parents hehe) when they are sick too. Who takes care of Mommy?! I checked in with my mom half way through the day in hopes that she would take pity and come home. Instead she replies that she has it too and is stuck at work that way. So there was no help in sight. I didn't want to bother my husband because things are busy for him at work.
So yesterday I made sure that everyone else was still tended to, made a crock pot meal for the normal feeling bunch, took care of the animals and the boy, and still was sick and miserable. But you know, I survived. It sucks, but it just proves that mom's are stronger than all the rest. ha.
With everything yesterday, I was not able to take my herbs. I doubt missing one day will do anything but I'm also skipping my morning dose today as I want to make sure this toast and water will stay put.
Glad to hear that you're surviving. That stuff is the pits and I'm sure worse when you have to take care of everyone else too.
