Evap lines are evil

Last night I took a target brand test. The plus sign kind. In 2 mins there was a very faint line forming the plus. I of course was wide awake at that point and ripped it apart to get a better look at it. Clearly a faint line forming that plus. I woke my husband up and he couldn't see it. We live so far from everything so I just gave up obsession around midnight and went to bed. Obviously it was impossible to sleep. This morning I finally drifted off good around 5am, and jumped awake at 7am. Rushed K out of bed and we went to the grocery store for a better test. But first I peed and saved that first morning to use to test.
I got a Answer brand line only test, come home and test right away. No line. Nothing at all to even attempt to go by. So now I'm crushed. That line last night was there in less than 5 mins. I saw it, and a friend I emailed the picture to saw it as well. It was not just in my mind. It's still on it this morning. It's blue. Not gray. Why? Both tests have the same sensitivity. First morning pee should be producing a stronger line. Why? Seriously WHY?! 5 freaking years now......

  1. I HATE TARGET TESTS! I completely believe you that you saw the blue line, cause I've seen it too with those damn tests. Those things are lying pieces of crap. I too have had a faint blue line that should indicate positive from them... actually 2 out of 3 tests in one box, but as late as I was in my cycle when I used them I knew they were lying or I was about to miss carry because the line should have been stronger at that point. My husband saw them too. Never, ever get the +- tests, but especially never get the Target kind. Evil. Just evil. Sorry you had to go through that.

  2. I had a terrible evap line incident with Clear Blue Easy... Or First Response. One of the two. Big $$ tests. Sorry you had to go through that. :P
