Ok earlier I was complaining that this week was dragging. But now it's Friday! Yay! One more week closer to spring. Time for another end of the week review.
Good stuff:
I got 2 new orchids. I will get some pictures uploaded soon. They make me happy but I'm honestly running out of room right now and also repotting supplies. Oops.
We are closer to spring. The temps have hit 30's and even 40's this past week. It's back to right below freezing again but doesn't feel that bad.
The vet appt went well and the bunny is eating hay finally. She seems to like it and I've started to limit her pellets. She was also nice and let me hold her a few times this week for about 10 mins each time. Without trying to bite. Big progress. Her teeth must have hurt.
Annoying stuff of the week.
My mom told me about my brother finally emailing her. He's laid off again and his phone was shut off so he hasn't really talked since Christmas. Anyway, the email says that his girlfriend is having a baby shower at the end of Feb. Um, why? She had a huge shower last year and her kids will be barely 12 months apart. She got enough stuff last year for about 3 kids. But, it's pink. The new baby is a boy. Well, we didn't tell her to buy only pink of everything. And I mean everything. I refuse to go or buy the kid anything. We don't even know if it's his kid. And while I'm on this subject, she is really stupid. She's not even 20. This is at least her 4th maybe more pregnancy. She lost the first 2. She doesn't work, doesn't plan to ever work, and he isn't working. They act like they don't have a care in the world. It is total nonsense. So no, I will not be going to the stupid baby shower. Their little boy can enjoy a pretty pink car seat and pink clothes for all I care. I didn't tell her to go and get pregnant again. And I don't care if people think I'm nasty and mean for thinking that way.
And so it's not ending with all complaining, I'll also add that I finally got a hair cut yesterday. It was one of those days that I woke up, showered and still could not handle the hair. Wet, it touched my jeans and it was so thick and heavy. Impossible to deal with so I called and kind of begged for any appt as long as it was yesterday. They squeezed me in and I got 7 inches cut off, putting it around the middle of my back and then layered nicely. So much lighter and easier to manage. I like it. And best of all, Kristopher listened the whole time. So we went and got slushies and an orchid afterwards. He likes the greenhouse just as much as I do. I'm a bad influence.
