Visitors

Last night we had visitors. It was my mom's birthday and I wanted to surprise her with bringing up my brother, his girlfriend and the baby. It was planned perfectly as a surprise till she talked to him and he said "See you Friday!" So she knew, but was still the same response I had hoped for. I ordered her a really yummy cake from Cold Stone Creamery. Which btw, YUM! Then I decided I'd brave things, and pick them up early because I didn't feel like wasting the gas to go out another time in an hour or 2 from that point. What I learned was I can fit another car seat into the car and still have room for someone to sit in the backseat. I can also have a load of groceries, cooler, and fit someone into the back seat if needed. Kristopher actually finds it extremely entertaining to have a baby sitting beside him and "can't wait till we get one to keep that is ours!!" To him, he still thinks babies are like getting a new pet I think. If only it could be that easy.

The visit went pretty good. The baby now smiles and tries to coo at us, so it suckered me into holding her more this time. Doesn't help the whole baby fever thing. They stayed till around 9:30 and then mom offered to take the home. It was a pretty nice time and she's really happy with me right now since I made it all happen. It can be like my good deed for the month or something like that.

Cycle wise, day 21. My appt is Monday. I'm not sure what to think yet, so I'll just wait very impatiently. After the whole yeast infection thing, I have tried to mentally tell myself that there is a high chance this won't even work this time, so if it doesn't, at least I was semi prepared. And if it doesn't work and I have another 31 day cycle, then I'll know it all happened after day 16. So, we wait. Again.
