**UPDATE** 0.3. starting provera and double the dose next round.
Well, I didn't really find out much today. We skipped the pee test since it was negative so recently, and they only did another P4 check. I haven't heard what the number was yet, and probably won't until Monday at this point.
The u/s still has the big ole crater ovary. He still says by u/s, it looks like ovulation. Then also said that maybe it wasn't a mature follicle or something like that. I didn't ask for more explanation this time. I figured I'd ask for more when she calls.
So the plan now is to wait for my results. If they are really low again, I will start provera, and next round will be a double dose of meds. If they are high enough to indicate something did happen, then I wait more, and stay at the same dose next time. I honestly feel that since it's so different each time, that maybe they should just up the dose, but study protocol only allows that if the patient does not show response. And lucky me, I am.
I didn't really ask a lot of questions or care too much about this appt because I've honestly lost hope in this round. I've also had a lot going on behavior wise with K this week and feel like I'm close to a breakdown. It's just been an extremely stressful end of the week and I'm burnt out.
I probably won't be updating again till we have results.
Well that sucks! And you were doing so well. Now I wonder what's on your ovary.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the anovulatory cycle. I whole-heartedly believe that those are harder to take than BFNs.
Stay sane this weekend, and I hope the provera is kind to you.
