Kristopher is going back to the doctor again tonight. The coughing will not ease up, and the allergy symptoms are still there. He's currently on a rx allergy med, benedryl every 4-6 hrs during the day, rx nose spray, and we've bought the air purifiers and humidifier to help. We've inclined the bed to help him breathe better at night, and none of this is working. He isn't sleeping enough, I'm not sleeping enough, and we're both getting moody and mean.
Last Friday he had his first bad report from school because he snapped at someone and was just out of it. She said it was not like him, and hopefully it's a one time thing.
I don't know what is going on, but I feel it is more than allergies, and they need to figure this out. Even if it's to give him a rx cough med for sleeping, it will make things a lot better. Obviously their current approach is not working and when it interferes with his normal day to day behavior, then it needs fixed. I hate how often we've been going to appts and dealing with this drama.
