Apparently Kristopher has "Cough Variant Asthma". She feels that it was triggered by a virus or a sinus infection, and we are going to have a follow up xray in 3 weeks. And, need to watch him closely with colds to make sure they run their course and move on, or if it's going to linger and cause more drama.
I'm going to stick with the practice under the understanding that she is the only doctor I will see since she is the only one who has taken the time to research all his chart, and all our sick appts and ER trips.
He is doing a lot better and has been pretty much cough free. Still acts a little worn out by the end of the day, and not 100% back with his eating yet, but A LOT better than just a week ago. So I guess it's yay for answers at this point. Time will tell how this will play out.
