Less than 11 days

My husband set up a cool little countdown on his phone and as of this morning, we were at 11 days. Seeing as today is over, I'll say 10 more days and feel better.
Packing is basically at a stand still until next weekend. I am hoping to get into the new place this week for window measurements so I can make some new curtains. We had the exact same type of place when we lived there before (actually right across the parking lot) and I'm not sure I like the curtains I had then anymore. I'll use them if all else fails, but I really want something new. Those were actually my first attempt and the window is giant. So they are ok, but not really up to standard with what I know now.
So other than that, my new week plans will be a trip to goodwill to drop off a bunch of stuff I've decided to part with instead of move.
I also need to make more calls and get some extra meds on hand for Zoey since we'll be farther from the vet. And go ahead and change address info there.
Friday there is a special school bus safety thing for school. He will be a walker, but still it is recommended to do the little class because of field trips. He's excited. I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to manage that totally because it's 2-2.5 hrs, and I'll have the kids that day too. The baby is too big for the carrier seat, and in this I want to be down and moving all around stage, and I don't know how it will fly with being held that long. Between now and then, I have to try out the hip carrier and see if he will allow that. And he is a morning napper. The thing starts at 9am. I am scared!

  1. Do you have a stroller you can put the baby in? If we have to be out with M for a long while we use the stroller because he would not be happy being held that long. We did have some success with the sling the other week. He really liked being up and seeing things at that level, but only ~1hour of wearing him had me worn out too!
