Today will end the 3rd full week of babysitting for me. It's going pretty good. I've managed to get the kids on a good nap routine and this week have the baby napping at the same time as her sister. I feel like it's a major accomplishment because they do not nap for anyone else, including at home. But for me, they are easy. Weird.
My weeks have definitely been busier and exhausting. I like it though. Minus the baby spit up and extra laundry because this baby spits up a ton and soaks me at least 2 times per day. I could skip that part. Very new to me because Kristopher was not that kind of baby. Speaking of Kristopher, he is loving "us" babysitting. He is convinced he is doing a huge part of it. Not sure what exactly but this little girl LOVES to be everywhere that he is. So he does help a lot by playing when the baby needs me more. And the baby is pretty cool to him too. He's in that cooing and squealing stage and we've managed to get a few real giggles too and K thinks that is just the coolest thing ever. That and gas. He also finds it hilarious that the kid farts like a grown man.
Zoey is doing better. I skipped out on the steroids with her because she did not improve at all on Saturday, so we went straight to the hard core antibiotics and it stopped everything. She's acting normal again and I just have to make an extra effort to keep her out of the kitchen if there is anyone eating.
Tonight I'm going to attempt to go to the PA Garden Expo. There is suppose to be orchids there. I've developed a major addiction or obsession sounds better I guess, to these things. I hope the weather doesn't cancel the show.
Both my husband and I got netbooks 2 weeks ago. Mine is pink so there is no chance of him trying to steal mine. I love the battery life, and how easy it is to tote around with me. But, its got a super tiny screen, and none of my photo editing software on it. When I sit down to work at that, someone wakes up or needs me, so I have no uploaded those yet. Pictures hopefully to come this weekend. Definitely trying to get use to the tiny screen though. When it's late at night and I'm tired, my eyes crap out.
Now to try my luck at getting everyone ready to leave here in the next 45 mins. Friday's we meet to swap the kids at a half way point, and I go on to do my errands and groceries. I'm slower at getting out the door now...ha.
OMG, the spit up!!! It's driving me crazy! I could care less about the laundry, but it's so demoralizing that I work so hard to feed him and then he spits it up. I really hope if you get your baby it's not a spitter, especially if you BF it.
