Blizzard

Well, it's still going strong. So far, we have not lost power. I'm amazed because it's crazy windy. We've lost satellite a few times, but that's it. My husband made it home safely. He claims he got stuck twice, but he knows what to do and how to handle it, so it wasn't anything bad. It took him an extra hour to get home, and our road is totally drifted shut with drifts higher than his car! He has an Xterra, which is pretty high. I haven't seen a snow plow all day. The only traffic is snowmobiles so I'm assuming we are still drifted shut. We have a 4 ft snow drift at the mail box. Poor Zoey has a drifted pee path and is officially saying screw the snow and peeing on the sidewalk and running back in. She's on poop strike. The wind is here till at least tomorrow afternoon, but I think the snow is over. It's still a white out effect due to this crazy blowing. The main highways are still closed, and state workers are on 2 hr delay tomorrow. My husbands work never closes, and he plans on going in and will try at his regular time (3am) and come back home if it's drifted bad still and wait again till daylight. I'm fairly sure I won't be babysitting tomorrow, again. It will give us more time to get cleared out a little better. Tomorrow I'll do a picture post.
