We are in the middle of what appears to be a blizzard. They are calling for us to get around 18 inches this time. We still have about that much on the ground from the weekend storm! It's crazy windy right now, and we're expecting to probably lose power soon. It's crazy. And my husband decided to go to work anyway today, even though we had a good 6 inches down when he left. I hope he can make it home safely. I'm more worried about idiots who are out playing and don't know how to properly handle in snow, wrecking into him than I am about his driving ability. He says he will work till around 1 and then hopefully gets home. Pretty much everywhere has closed today. I would bet a lot will be closed tomorrow as well. I have yet to see a plow hit our road. There was only 2 trucks that live up the road, go past today so far. And the news is advising people to stay home unless it's an absolute emergency. Ugh. I honestly wouldn't be bothered by this if he was just home safe right now!
I guess I should make something for supper and keep it in the crock pot just in case the power goes out. That way we definitely have supper. It's already planned to camp out in the living room at the fireplace if we lose it for too long. I wish we had a whole house generator....
