Full of blizzard pictures

This first one is the one rare time we could see our garage yesterday. Obviously it was incredibly windy, and we were drifted shut so bad that plows could not open us up. We got this wonderful giant snow blower come through at 6am (3 hrs after my husband tried and failed at getting to work). Before that 2 plow trucks tried and it just was not happening. That thing came through and magically we had a lane open. Notice my car....The wind was so strong that it cleared my windshield completely off. No scrapping for me! Here's our road after the plows went 2 at a time for about an hour. Our fence is 4 ft tall (I think) and some drifts have it covered in spots. Mostly where the camera didn't catch.
We took a test drive around the neighborhood to see if it was safe to have him go to work, and for the kids to come today. Not babysitting today either because as you can see in the picture below, the wind is making it drift back shut again and too fast for them to keep up with it.
Fields are slightly bare. Why did it have to blow it all to the road?
My boy finally woke up and got to come out. He was actually asking to go in and have more hot chocolate.
My poor freezing doggy. She doesn't realize that her hair is suppose to keep her pretty warm.
