School shopping has started

Yesterday we were out and saw that Target had backpacks and stuff on sale. Kristopher has been so excited about the upcoming school year, and would rather look at the school stuff when we go places than to hit up the toys. He freaked when we got to them because "They are ON SALE!!!" So I asked him what he would like and then it was a 20 min debate about which one would be best. He couldn't decide and finally said he needed more time to think on things. We left and got lunch and went on to do some grocery shopping. Half way through the grocery store he decided exactly what he wanted and begged to go back to target. So, we went, and the final product was a super mario wii backpack and matching lunch box. The reason for that pick was because the lunch box lights up. He was so excited to finally get his backpack that he wore it to the front of the store all proud. He then proceeded to ask me for money so he could pay for it by himself. Everything was going well with that until it rang up wrong. I thought he was going to have a heart attack while waiting for it to be fixed. All worked out well though so he was back to happy and satisfied. As each person came home last night, they got attacked with the showing off of the backpack, complete with showing how he will wear it. He's still talking today about what will be put into the lunch box. Complete to how it needs arranged. Yeah....he's slightly OCD like me. Maybe worse than me. Ha.
And it wouldn't be complete without insisting on pictures. Ignore the messy bunny cages in the background. They had a party last night. So it's a head start on what we will need. I am waiting on the list and he actually still needs to be registered at the new school. They can't register him until we have proof of residency for the district. That will all be last minute I guess. Our offical signing date now is August 13th. The rental office is trying to see what they can do to have paperwork to us sooner for the school part though. I don't want for him to miss out on open house and all that good stuff to prepare him (and me) more.
