The tooth fairy is getting exhausted and may end up having to get a 2nd job. Or my kid is going to end up on baby food or liquid diet. The other molar fell out tonight. I'm no dentist, but I'm fairly sure he has spacing issues on the top. The bottom has both 6 yr molars out and normal. They've been out since last August. The top however is pushing out and is the reason those other molars are out. It's freaky to see the giant teeth popping out. And nothing like eating supper and a tooth being put down on the table across from your plate. He was excited and thinks it's the coolest thing ever. Me, I'm thinking about future dental trips, pain that will come with making room if needed in the future, braces, mean kids teasing, etc.
And the tooth fairy is tired. It has been a long week so far, and I would love to go to sleep early. Instead, I need to wait till he is totally asleep. He is watching for her to show up instead. Fighting sleep and watching the door. Last night he was playing with the tooth for a while and I had to search for it. So we convinced him that the tooth fairy emailed us and asked us to remind him to use his tooth fairy pillow so it's easier for her busy nights. He was all offended but took it very seriously tonight. Pretty funny to watch....
It's raining teeth!
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty funny/clever about the Tooth Fairy emailing you. I'll have to remember that one.
