Santa

Last night we took Kristopher on a special trip to see Santa. It was a magic train ride to the "north pole" and they read a story and sang Christmas songs while on the way. Then the lights went out and there was a lit up area and Santa got on the train. Total amazement out of the kids. It was too cute. Kristopher was so bummed after the initial Santa moment on the fact that "he was too cited about Santa and missed all the snow!!!" Santa walked through and gave each kid a book of the story that was read and then worked his way back again to spend a few minutes with each kid.
Here's the look of look we kept getting when Santa was walking around.

He kept telling me he was so happy he got to ride to get Santa, so happy we got to go on the train and was just "So so happy!" I love it. I wish we could have found this earlier years because what makes me sad is that this might be his last year of believing if the kids at school ruin things for him. I love the magic and how exciting him believing has made everything for us.

Santa visited with him and he was speechless. Kristopher. Speechless. Wow! Then after his visit he bursts into "oh no I forgot to tell him what I wanted!!" Santa did a little speech and said how kids who weren't sure can mail their lists to him and he was relieved to know he still has that chance. It was hilarious. So then we listed to some more singing and Santa rode back to the station with us. Total trip was about 2 hrs and he truly believed we went to the north pole. When we got off the train he says that Santa is now in Pennsylvania and so far from his home. Santa went along with it and said he was staying at a hotel and they would go home tomorrow. I love it. The trip was totally worth it all just to see the magic of it all.

And now it is snowing and he's convinced it came from us picking up Santa last night. "We brought the snow home with us!"
