Hormonal crazies

I started spotting very randomly yesterday. It's old gross nasty spotting, and it's only very random times. So something is in the works, but not very close. This is a typical start for me when I haven't been medicated somehow.
I'm thinking I may have ovulated though. Because of the boob pain and definite progesterone increase last week, and I had achiness and signs about 2 weeks ago. It was when I was babysitting while my friend was in the hospital. Obviously nothing happened during that week because the baby was here and was sick. And right before that, the dog was sick. I spent over a week sleeping on the couch between those 2 things. So it was my own fault and I can't be upset that nothing happened. I'm just ready for this cycle to be over.
My neighbor had her appt yesterday and I haven't heard from her or the midwife yet. If I don't hear anything by Thursday or the start of things, I'll be going over to see if there is any news. I'm hoping she will at least talk to me about the herbs and let me buy them at a discount from her.
I've gained like 6lbs back from the last study appt. With winter clothes on, that makes it like 8lb gain. I'm going to count it as 6lbs because it's less, so there for less depressing and I'll just continue to weigh myself in my pjs each Monday. I'm just not in the right frame of mind to stick to a healthy diet right now.
On a happier note, the Wii came yesterday. It was also my husband's birthday and we were both impatient and decided we would count it as his bday gift since I got a camera for mine. So we spent several hours on it last night. The only games we have so far is Wii Sports and the Mario Kart which is awesome. Definitely a great stress reliever. And we both worked up a sweat playing that last night and my arms are sore! I think this might actually be a good investment afterall!
It's almost time to get K from school so I'll end it at that.

  1. Well, hopefully your next cycle will go better.

Isn't Mario Kart fun?! Stock up on batteries.
