They are everywhere! In the past 2 days I've had about a total of 5 hrs of baby time. NEW baby time at that.
Yesterday we visited my friend and her kids. The baby is now 3 weeks old, and I visited while K was at school. Almost 2 hrs of relaxing snuggle time. Then, they visited last night and we relaxed on my couch together. I miss those days.
Also, my neighbor had her baby last Friday! A little boy and I went today while K was at school to drop off a quick gift. She invited me in and insisted I visit and hold the baby. He is just 5 days old! I was there about 45 mins and he was awake and so calm the whole time. He kept looking all around and never really cried.
So that all has the baby fever back. Really bad. So until it happens for me, I guess these 2 will be getting lots of visits. Wonder how long till they are tired of me....
Day 7 here, and day 6 of the herbs. As disgusting as they are, I'm getting use to it I guess. I'd compare it to worse than vicks cold and flu meds. I was washing it down with I swear about 20 ozs of water after but tonight I took a quick drink of pepsi and the taste was gone a lot faster. I think water is still the best option so I'll use that pepsi trick for the times I feel worse about it. Obviously it's too soon to tell if anything is going on but I've notice mood wise I'm not as bad, and I have more energy. Or maybe it's just I'm crazy busy with running all around. Not sure. I'm surviving it though and hoping for a real sign that it's working by next month.
Baby fever is bad! It seems like there are a lot people due around the same time as me here, so it might only get worse in the short term.
ReplyDeleteDrinking more water is almost always good but I can't fault you at all for the occasional soda. I swear that Sonic's diet cherry limeade has something to do with the pregnancy... maybe it's just that I eased up on myself a little and stopped so hard to be prefect. So enjoy your pepsi!
