Happy Halloween from us. A few days early because I'm sure the weekend will be busy.
As you can see, Kristopher was a ghost again. The costume ripped part of the way up the one side when he got home, so after tomorrow, it will be retired.
I did talk to the school today and got the ok for him to be a ghost tomorrow too. He's happy and am too because I do not have to try fitting making a new costume into my crazy schedule. We will have next years costume made waaaay in advance though since we know ahead of time now. Apparently halloween is a bad word in the school and they are not allowed to call it a halloween party. That is why there was the no costume rule. Lovely. There is also no Christmas talk. It's HOLIDAY. I won't even go there on that one.
Anyway...Zoey was a doggy witch. She was very much not impressed with my decision to dress her up too. As you can tell. She tolerated it great though. I think she secretly liked the attention.

ReplyDeleteI kinda like the character theme, I think it gives more options than regular halloween costumes. You could dress him like Huckelberry Finn in bib over-alls Harry Potter with a cape. Or Clifford the big red dog.
We have lots of ideas for next year. I want to find overalls, and he could be the mouse from if you give a mouse a cookie. I thought it would look really cute, but overalls were impossible to find today. Or I may try to do the cat in the hat, and then the kids I babysit will be thing 1 and thing 2.
ReplyDeleteI think the part that annoys me the most is I know that there will be kids dressed up as batman and other clearly halloween costumes.
