Beach trip 2010

We came home to cold, nasty rainy weather. My mind is stuck at the beach. I figured I'll use that and go with it for our beach summary. With pictures! Yay!

So, Sunday we arrived. The trip there was easy. Kristopher was great, and watched 4 movies on the way and we got there around 1:30pm. Got to the hotel several hours before check in and they let us check in early. Awesome. We get to our room and were blown away. Incredible place. So we get settled in and went to do some grocery shopping. We planned on making most of our meals at the hotel since we had a pretty nice little kitchen. After some shopping we enjoyed some pool time, and a walk on the beach and then called it an early night. Oh and lets not forget my very long soak in the jacuzzi tub. Oh how I miss that tub!! (I took so many relaxing baths while on vacation. Must invest in jacuzzi tub one of these days)

Monday we visited Ripley's Aquarium and Broadway on the Beach. Here is Kristopher at Ripley's.

So, Ripley's was a pretty nice place. The shops around there were fun to check out as well, and we spent some time feeding the crazy fish and ducks. Oh and that morning at the hotel and beach, we found 2 baby sea turtles on the beach. So cute. The rest of the day was spent relaxing between the hotel, pool and beach.
Tuesday was a rainy day, and we relaxed most of that day away. Same as above. Hotel & pool time. Ended the day with something amazing that I wish I could have gotten a full picture of. Double rainbow over the ocean. So pretty.

Wednesday we played in the pools and did hotel stuff. My aunt visited us that evening. She lives about 45 mins away so that was nice.
Thursday was more of a beach/hotel day. We took Kristopher to see a movie that evening, and the same night I found a small sting ray swimming about a foot in front of me in the ocean. I thought it was pretty cool.
Friday we packed up and after a round of mini golf, we left. The dvd player decided to crap out, so the ride was a little more vocal from Kristopher, but overall not too bad. We got home before 10pm that night.
So overall, it was a good vacation. I can't believe it has come and gone already, and that we come home to such crappy weather. It was nice to be away from here, on our own a little, and to have all that time with my husband without work drama. I miss my doggy though so we had to come home. Maybe I should start a countdown till next years vacation.....
