Saturday evening we saw santa. Kristopher still very much believes, and I love it. The look of amazement when he saw Santa walk out was just priceless. Funny story too because we got there and there was a sign saying be back at 5:30. He was all worried that it would take "forever". A lady walks over and says how Santa was on a cookie break, and is on his way back. We were the only ones there, so she was trying to get Kristopher to go sit on his chair and when he came to sit, say "dude! where have you been?!" Well, he was shy and afraid of being put on the naughty list, so he wouldn't do it. Not even when she offered him $5. So, after Santa got back, they joked about that and he said because of how good he was, he was gettin 2 lollipops. He spent a nice amount of time talking and at the end, the nice lady handed him $5 anyway and said he was a good sport. It truly made his night.

And then we will add the Christmas concert. Here he is singing his heart out to "Must Be Santa" at his very first school concert. You could hear him in the back of the gym. Anyone who is friends with me on facebook HAS to watch the video that a friend posted.
Watching them sing made me almost cry. I don't know what it is but everytime I see him interacting in the school like that, I have to fight it back. I'm crazy. I just can't believe he is truly that old already and doing all this. I wish I could have gotten more pics but I had the 2 little ones along and the baby was not impressed with me trying to take a ton of pictures. At least we have a few good ones.

I watched the video. The kids did a great job singing! You can actually understand the words! Most the time the words just get all mumbled together at that age so I'm very impressed.
ReplyDeleteIt's cute that he's still so into Santa. I'm a little on the fence about starting a Santa tradition with Michael. I know, there must be something wrong with me, but I'm an engineer and trying I cringe thinking about how to explain any questions that could pop up.
